Pretty much every other Sonic has managed to whup my butt, but I still enjoy them because they are fun, even if they're a bit much for me. My favorite 3-D sonic game is Unleashed because the day stages call to mind the Genesis days of Sonic. I treat the night stages as minigames required to unlock the day stages.
